This year I have decided to “challenge” myself to watch all those films I have put on the back burner. You know those films you have always wanted to (or should have) seen by now and you haven’t. May it be timing, availability or what have you. From the classics, to general movies I just still haven’t checked out and have always wanted to. Last year I was able to watch several films with my good friend Riikka and so many became instant favorites I don’t want to put certain titles off any longer! I’m sure I’ve forgotten some, or will add to this list naturally, but I made the decision to try to make an effort to see most – if not all – of the following films. This wouldn’t be such a difficult task given I didn’t watch anything else, but I’m the kind of person that tends to rewatch my favorite films on a regular basis, not to mention the crap Hollywood throws at us left and right, all whilst watching about a thousand shows. I know, I should probably distance myself from entertainment a bit but I am deciding to dive in head first!

This is similar to the “100 Films” thing that went around, but the difference is I’ve actually chosen the titles prior to beginning rather than just jotting down when I watch/re-watch a movie

The following list are films I’ve never seen in completion, about 80% I’ve never watched anything of and others I’ve either started and never finished or I was never able to find to rent.

Long time no see. While quite a lot has been going on with me, I haven’t much felt like blogging but I have been making several tweets so you can always find me there. Last week I celebrated my 20th birthday and went to see my uncle in Raleigh. I had a lot of fun on the two days we spent together. We mostly swam at the pool, ate yummy food and talked. We also saw Transformers 2 in IMAX which was a blast and the movie is total fun, but it is way too long for me which I almost never say. But it’s definitely the ultimate summer popcorn flick, but not my favorite of the year so far and somehow it doesn’t live up to the first.

I’m trying to get my license soon which I’m overly excited about. Everyone is so shocked I still don’t have them which kind of pisses me off. Really I haven’t had a reason too. Since insurance is always so expensive for first time drivers I wanted to wait until I could A) have the money to pay that monthly and B) have a car of my own. I might have went the slow way, but now that those things seem stable I am ready :D Nervous about the test I’ll go try to take tomorrow though!
