Callie: Take off your pants.
Erica: Excuse me?
Callie: Take off your pants. We’re trying this again. - Grey’s Anatomy
Edit by R: Here are some things you can do if you wish to support Brooke Smith and the character/storyline.
• Hope for Hahn LJ
• Hope 4 Hahn: The Petition
• Callie & Erica LJ Campaign

Gosh! Just when Grey’s was truly making a turn around and become good again - okay, I’ll admit, I’m a big fan of the whole series, so I don’t entirely hate everything but the seasons have been slowly declining since the amazing season 2.
So here is the news, Dr. Haun aka Brooke Smith (yes, that “put the lotion in the basket girl” from Silence of the Lambs) is being totally fucked over big time. This Thursday’s episode of Grey’s is her last. WTF?!
EW says this was not creator Shonda Rhimes’ decision but rather an order that came down from the network. The ABC executives reportedly “had issues” with both the explicit direction Hahn’s relationship with Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) was taking and with the Hahn character in general.
I’m a huge fan of her character, Brooke is super funny and witty in general too - and yes I’m a massive Callica shipper (but I’ll admit, I’m more a shipper for Mark & Callie all together). But I’m truly pissed off by this piece of news - first they had the nerve to up and boot her character which has been a big light on the show for me (adored her season 2 episode fans will recall, so was ecstatic she was a recurring cast member) and now only is she gone, but will she not get a proper goodbye, but what makes me most angry with this is apparently they knew about this since let go since mid September and couldn’t make a real send off. And why couldn’t they just go and do a re-write before even entering this relationship if ABC didn’t like it? Hello it is a TV Show and re-writes happen often, I mean remember when a cast member up and offed another co-star for being openly gay and that drama and how the plug wasn’t yanked instantly… could we not have tried it and then ultimately write out Dr. Haun? Why do you have to go and pull the plug LIKE THAT? Honestly it would have took one little episode to give Dr. Haun a proper goodbye, it go something like this: Erika realizes she is a lesbian and is clearly madly in love with Callie, as you may have seen from last weeks episode which was evident. This love, while their is strong affection isn’t reciprocated back to her from Callie so Erika decides she’s gonna bid farewell - give her a hella surgery, let her be a hero for an episode and have her leave Seattle Grace Hospital and go back to either Mercy West or move on to another better place. That’s it. One episode… Now I might be jumping the gun as I haven’t seen this week’s episode but reports are she gets no farewell what so ever, in fact Smith herself says “I’m not written out. My final scene is just me heading to my car.” so I guess I’m not jumping ahead.

Dayum Man! Halle Berry is back in case we ever forgot about her! And with a bang… now let’s emphasize on this word shall we?

2. To beat or thump, or to cause (something) to hit or strike against another object, in such a way as to make a loud noise; as, to bang a drum or a piano; to bang a door (against the doorpost or casing) in shutting it.
3. To have sexual intercourse with; to fuck; — usually used with the male as a subject. Considered vulgar or obscene
Considered vulgar - LMAO!

I have a confession to make… I love Amber Heard. Like love love.
I first remember seeing Amber as the young Charlize Theron in North Country. Her role is a small one but I think she pulled off a powerful and memorable performance, especially considering the limited screentime. I immediately saw great potential in her. Even though I was not actively following her career afterwards, her performance stayed with me. Last summer I saw her again in Hidden Palms. I liked the pilot a lot - and I immediately fell in love with Amber as Greta (watch that clip if you haven’t!). Sadly the show went immediately downhill… However, my adoration for Amber did not! Our site, Adoring Amber Heard, was born from an impulsive decision, it is a ‘crush’ site if you will, but there has not been a moment that I would have regretted it or lost motivation. I have really become a big fan of Amber and while some of her films stink a little, she is building herself a decent career and will, undoubtedly, have a bright future ahead of her. I mean, Amber’s really got it all going for her (especially if she’s gain back a few pounds - you know me, I just HAD to add that in).
I finally saw All the Boys Love Mandy Lane a few weeks back and I absolutely loved it. It was everything I had come to expect from it and that is saying a lot considering my high expectations. I was already slightly spoiled by certain turns of events - thanks to Amber herself - but it did not stop me from enjoying every minute of it. The DVD comes out next month. I cannot wait to re-watch it and cap Amber’s role! She’s so damn hot! Like a certain girl once said: “All the boys love Mandy Lane. And so do I.”
And here’s a little picspam of some of my favorite Amber shots in random order. Just because. View all in original size at our gallery.
