I haven’t updated in a while. Truth is, I become addicting to just tweeting – hehe! Anyways I thought this was more than deserving of a proper post!

Last Saturday I went to my first concert, ever, insane I know. But man, what a fucking way to get addicted! My cousin and buddy Summer and I went to Charlotte, NC and saw The Sounds, Paramore and No Doubt. And It was truly a blast and one of the funnest things I’ve ever done. I’m so glad No Doubt is back – as I used to consider them my favorite band. But a few years ago when they went on hiatus was around the time I discovered The White Stripes (whom I consider my very favorite) but I obviously still adored them (now more than ever), it’s just there wasn’t much going on the past few years despite like the single’s albums and of course Gwen doing her on solo stuff. So seeing a band I truly loved as my first concert only made it even more memorable! So much fun in fact it took me like two days to recover my voice, the pain to escape my body from all the jumping and yelling. Gosh it was just crazy insane!

Well I’m now back stateside, let the post travel depression kick in: now.

But honestly, where to begin? I suppose I can start off by saying I had the absolute most amazing time, ever! Truly, this is the case where you can’t put into words just how amazing everything was and such a wonderful experience!

Scotland was so beautiful, the land was so truly breathtaking and the sea, places like Stone Haven were almost to gorgeous to be real. Plus the city itself is gorgeous. It really makes me angry how much our city truly sucks, haha! The churches, graveyards, roads, buildings everything were so pretty. And I’m really smitten with Aberdeen University.

We did so many fun things in Scotland despite running out of money to venture to other cities there. Right before we left for Paris I got to attend a Director’s presentation event with the very funny David Mackenzie at Riikka’s Uni. We watched one of his films Hallam Foe before attending and I really loved it. It was such a cool experience listening to someone speak about their career, struggles and her was really funny. It was all so fascinating. We had a few days before we ventured to Paris and to prepare we watched a ton of Paris themed flicks and then finally a few short days after arriving in Scotland we jetted off to France!

I started out making my top 50 favorite posters, but I went well over. I tend to love colorful posters or ones that use two principal colors (IE: black on white, red on black, etc), witty tag lines and probably my favorite of all are posters which you see something if you look a little closer. For those in fact these small thumbnails don’t do them justice so click the links to view the larger posters!

By the way they are in no particular order and also one poster that’s an all time favorite is this one for Dazed and Confused but I couldn’t find it online.

Left to right: American History X; visually stark and eye catching. I only wished it kept it’s original tag line on this one. To the naked eye it looks identical but I prefer the one you can see his swastika because it’s so important to the film. Grindhouse; okay I love all the posters for the double feature and sub films but decided to only list this one but I do love them all! This one is so cool because it’s so classic double feature and features several of the characters but in a cool way. Star Wars; definitely one of the most iconic Star Wars posters of all.
