Well the year has come to and end if you can actually believe it! I am only posting a few films because I don’t really have time to get into all the movies I liked of course (but actually now that I look at this list, there really isn’t much else. This year sucked for cinema), but I’m only doing the most memorable for me, aka the top favorites. Also note that the majority of these are wide releases, simply put: My theatre sucks. So I can’t see many of the films I wanted to, particularly the later months and “Award worthy” ones. Also, they aren’t really in order - the best top 3 are pretty much tied because I loved them so much and have watched them about the same amount of times now.
Note: This is really a list of my favorites, not exactly ‘best’ and all. I suppose it’s one in the same, but to be clear I know I’m obsessed with Twilight and everything, but no I don’t think it’s the best movie made this year!
So without further ados, too late now, here is my best and worst of 08′.
My Best / Favorite of 2008
Towelhead
Pineapple Express
Iron Man
The Ruins
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Twilight
Teeth
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
The Dark Knight

Only I didn’t say “Fudge.” I said THE word, the big one, the queen-mother of dirty words, the “F-dash-dash-dash” word! - A Christmas Story
I wanted to wish you all a wonderful Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I know; its been comin for some time.
When its over, so they say, itll rain a sunny day,

Hola people!
So this last few week I haven’t been at home. I have spent the weekend with my cousin’s family and later went to spend some days with my Great Grandma. I did have fun despite being totally bored at my Grandma’s - her place is just too dead quiet! I normally bring books, my ipod, and other ‘entertaining’ materials but this time I didn’t as I didn’t plan to stay. But still I had fun and I really needed to spend some time with her since I haven’t seen her in months. We cleaned for her, and one day I went and picked Pecans with my aunts and baby cousin. The weather was very cold - not freezing of course - so I won’t complain ;) but quite chilly. But the days were beautiful and the leaves are just about gone *cries* so I tried to take some shots. This is nothing compared to how stunning it was just last week - I’m kicking myself for not taking any photos and delaying it! Argh! I guess there is next year. Anyways I’m glad to be home! I see tons of things happened while I was away, must catch up! Hee. Tonight’s Smallville should be one for the books and I am hoping I’m gonna get to see the midnight showing of Twilight - either way, tomorrow if not - OMFG It’s like HERE!

“I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes… the devil’s eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply… evil” - Halloween
Well it’s that time of year where I begin to obsess over a certain batch of films that put me in the mood for the fall weather season and Halloween.
Here is a list of the movies I have been (or will be) watching to celebrate the season.

Ginger Snaps (2000)
By far this being my favorite film of all time it is my favorite “fall/Halloween” film. I used to watch this movie like once a month, but for the past few years I have only watched a few times a year, but I can never pass up the chance to watch it once the weather starts getting cooler and leaves change. I remember the first time I watched it at midnight on HBO, seven years ago, ah good times. It’s so funny how big a part of my youth this film was too. Ultimately the movie got me introduced to the online world via the KI Forum years ago… man I feel old. LOL. FYI, Parts II & III are more Winter feels for me.
